Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from two seemingly distant yet deeply connected places: the resilience of young people emerging from conflict, and the bold thinking of innovators like Peter Thiel. Working with former child soldiers and war-affected youth in Sierra Leone after the war taught me that peace alone is not enough, it must be paired with opportunity. Their resilience revealed extraordinary human potential even in the harshest circumstances. That realization inspired me to build more.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated when I see that my efforts are changing lives. Watching young people gain skills, confidence, and the ability to shape their own futures is the greatest reward. When someone who once faced hardship begins to innovate, lead, and create opportunity for others, it reinforces my belief that investing in human potential can transform communities and build lasting progress.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to advance Coinfidence, an innovative startup designed to reimagine generosity in the modern economy. Coinfidence explores a new model for how people can participate in giving—one that leverages technology and entrepreneurship to expand opportunities for generosity at scale. The goal is to test a fresh framework that inspires people not only to give, but to see generosity as a powerful engine for social innovation and meaningful change.
