Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I’m inspired by entrepreneurs who started with little to no help and built something meaningful through grit and persistence. That journey reflects my own. I’m also inspired by everyday pet owners searching for better care, and the overlooked dogs who deserve it. They push me to keep building something bigger than a salon: a smarter, more accessible future for pet care.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by progress. Every member added, dog helped, and loyal client brings me closer to my vision of opening Phoenix’s first indoor dog park. When challenges arise, I return to the mission of making pet care easier and safer. I stay disciplined, listen to customers, and keep building.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded $25,000, I would invest it into equipment for our second Paws 48 location, including advanced wash systems, electric grooming tables, smart treadmills, and startup supplies. The funds would also support initial staffing during launch so we can open strong and bring modern, tech forward pet care to another community.
