Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My faith is my biggest inspiration in business. I am passionate about reaching people through beautiful artwork, products, and photography that not only tell a story but point back to Jesus. I also am very inspired by other small business stories and how some of the biggest brands got to where they are today. How I Built This podcast by Guy Raz has been a go to teaching source for me! All in all, I am inspired by my faith and the ideas that Jesus places on my heart that seem out of reach.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated through changing up the environments that I am in! I love to be creatively challenged and inspired. This means filling my cup through quiet time with the Lord, working three different jobs that fill different areas in my life, and learning from talented people around me. Being a college student has motivated me to create the business I have always dreamed of as I get close to graduation. I am motivated to create spaces for people to come have room to be filled by community also!

What would you do with the $25,000?

With this money, I would plan to kickstart manufacturing of bible and journal designs that I create. I have been hand painting them custom, one by one, but this is not a feasible business model! I have been searching for funding to get this idea off the ground as I graduate this December and start selling these stationary and a faith based products to different shops, wholesalers, and through an online store. The end goal would be to have a storefront!
