Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration started when I was a kid in high school. Instead of going out partying, I stayed home teaching myself architectural design software and designing houses because I loved it. I later earned my architectural degree and worked for a firm in Chicago, but eventually realized I wanted to build something of my own. That passion for design and building has driven everything I’ve created since.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering where I started. After a difficult period in my life, I moved back to Colorado and started my company with a $500 trailer, a few tools, and a vision to build something meaningful. Every project we complete represents progress and the chance to create spaces where families gather and memories are made. That responsibility keeps me focused and pushing forward.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest it directly into growing Homerun Construction & Design by expanding our design capabilities and equipment so we can build more thoughtful outdoor living spaces for homeowners across Southwest Colorado. I started this company with almost nothing but a trailer, tools, and determination, and this investment would help accelerate the growth of a business built on craftsmanship, creativity, and hard work.
