My inspiration for my Fashion business would have to be two people. My grandmother, a seamstress, who created some of the most memorable couture pieces in my visional memory and Elizabeth Taylor, because my Grandmother raised me and introduced me to the Movie Stars. Miss Taylor is an Icon, a tough businesswoman and a humanitarian, the world over.
How do you stay motivated?I listen to a great deal of music, 24/7. I love having the TV on, mostly old movie channels and Westerns. At random, I pick up glossy magazines and hardcover coffee books, or even a simple stroll outside can inspire you. It's all about perspective, but the reality is that every Artist has their own method to the madness.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would purchase the physical prototypes of my designs, as well as the clothing prototypes for my Fall 2026 collection. I would also use that money to launch a virtual fashion show to promote my brand, which will be livestreamed on Instagram and maybe LinkedIn.
