Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business is my family, particularly my parents. For generations, I have watched my family build something out of nothing but hard work. I admire my parents because of the fact that they worked from the ground up and built their business to what it is today. Not only that, but what they really taught me is how to treat people. They have always treated another like their own family and I have been able to witness first hand the impact they have made on the people around them.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by doing events that connect me with my community. I love meeting my customers because they are the ones who keep me going. Hearing first hand how they have used what I have created and how it has helped them throughout their day makes it all worthwhile. I love being able to transform the way someone feels through the power of natural scent.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the $25,000, I would reinvest it back into my business, The Aroma Alchemists, through furthering our education of aromatherapy as well as educating others on essential oils. I would also love to start our own biodynamic farms to distill our own essential oils and hydrosols for our products.
