Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from my years working in social work with children, youth, and families. I saw firsthand how overwhelmed and reactive the mental health system can be. It became clear that true healing often begins within the individual, not just through external interventions. That realization inspired me to create Within Wellness Studio, a space focused on nervous system regulation, holistic care, and empowering people to reconnect with their own capacity to heal.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by witnessing the transformations clients experience. Seeing someone move from anxiety, chronic stress, or emotional overwhelm to feeling regulated and hopeful reminds me why this work matters. As a single mother, I am also deeply motivated by my children. I want them to see that resilience, vision, and determination can create meaningful change and that we are capable of shaping our own reality.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I am expanding my business into a retreat-based model where clients participate in personalized 4–7 day wellness immersions rather than single sessions that only scratch the surface. Each retreat is tailored to the individual’s needs using multiple healing modalities. The funding would support marketing, website redesign, and improved booking infrastructure to help scale this model and reach more people seeking deeper mental health and wellness support.
