Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration is the power of a single image to preserve a legacy. I started Love & Light Photography because I believe that documenting human connection—the quiet, 'in-between' moments of love—is a form of service. I am inspired by photographers who use their lens to tell stories that would otherwise go unseen. My goal is to build a business that doesn't just take photos, but provides families and individuals with a tangible sense of belonging and history through art.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the 'reveal', that moment a client sees themselves through my lens and feels truly seen and beautiful. Photography can be a transformative experience for a person's self-esteem, and providing that boost is what keeps me behind the camera. I also find motivation in the technical challenge of mastering light; every shoot is a new opportunity to solve a creative puzzle and deliver a result that exceeds expectations for the people who trust me with their memories.

What would you do with the $25,000?

This grant would be a catalyst for expanding my community impact. I plan to invest in high-end lighting and editing equipment to increase my production speed and quality. Furthermore, I would launch a 'Legacy Initiative,' providing pro-bono portrait sessions for local families in underserved areas who may not have access to professional photography. By professionalizing my studio and formalizing this give-back program, I can turn my passion into a sustainable engine for community joy.
