Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Hello Everyone, My inspiration stems from a moment of fear that evolved into a mission. I’ve never been cited for a health code violation in my career of over 20 years. Nevertheless, as an executive chef, I learned early on in my career that you don’t get ready.. you stay ready. My business bridges the gap between culinary excellence and essential food safety. Good food means nothing if it isn’t safe you risk a decrease in your revenue, and toss your reputation.

How do you stay motivated?

I am inspired to create a new standard where we train you to not only prepare good food, but to protect it. We are building a company that educates, empowers, and protects food entrepreneurs, and their clients. Live your best life Now! This is my passion it’s my world. It wakes me up at night and I can’t talk to anybody without talking about food or food history, or food safety. Working with those re-entering into society, and the underserved population is our primary passion. All

What would you do with the $25,000?

Winning this $25,000 will allow me to create a mobile interactive training app, and launch a pilot program for 50 local food startups, ensuring that the next generation of culinary artists can transform their passion into a safe, scalable, and thriving business. In addition, I discovered a venue that is unique. I recently employed a pilot program called Faith & Food with Chef Faye the workshop integrates culinary arts and theology.
