I’m inspired by small, chef-driven food businesses that prioritize quality, creativity, and community—especially those that turn simple products into elevated experiences. I’m also deeply motivated by my own journey of rebuilding purpose through BC’S ICYS, proving that passion, resilience, and connection can grow something meaningful that brings joy to others.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the impact BC’S ICYS has on people—seeing guests light up when they try a flavor, hearing their stories, and being part of community moments. I’m also driven by the growth of the business and the opportunity to keep building something meaningful. Turning a passion into something that brings joy to others keeps me focused and inspired every day.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to scale BC’S ICYS by investing in production equipment, expanded cold storage, and improved event infrastructure to serve larger crowds efficiently. A portion would support marketing and staffing to maintain quality as demand grows. This funding would help strengthen operations, meet demand, and expand into new opportunities sustainably.
