Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My biggest inspiration in business is my parents. They immigrated to the US from Guatemala and, while raising a family and managing careers, built a nonprofit that provides scholarships and healthcare to Indigenous communities. Watching them shaped how I see the world, one rooted in both opportunity and inequity. Impactasnap is my solution to create a more community-driven platforms that inspire and create real impact.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by embracing the realities of this work. I’ve been let go twice from corporate social responsibility and sustainability roles due to political shifts. Instead of discouraging me, it’s made me want to work even harder, and pushed me to stay focused on what matters: using the right moments and opportunities to drive real, lasting impact for people and the planet.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d dedicate the $25,000 to marketing and tech, so we can boost visibility, generate leads, and allow me to focus on partnerships and sales, turning awareness into meaningful collaborations and measurable, credible social impact. As a two-person team, it would be immensely helpful, so we can focus on creating change, not applying to more grants.
