Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from my community, my family, and Indigenous storytellers who continue to share truth through art. Growing up, I saw how powerful stories are in shaping identity and challenging stereotypes. I am also inspired by Indigenous entrepreneurs who are creating space for our voices in industries that historically excluded us. Their resilience motivates me to build a business that uplifts our communities and ensures our stories are told authentically.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering the purpose behind my work. Storytelling is a powerful tool for representation, healing, and change. Each project is an opportunity to amplify Indigenous voices and share stories that matter. I stay grounded through culture, community, and mentorship. Even when challenges arise, I remind myself that building something meaningful takes persistence, and every step forward creates opportunities for others.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000 would help expand Bee Productions Inc. by investing in professional film equipment, editing technology, and production capacity. This support would allow me to create more Indigenous led stories, collaborate with community voices, and mentor emerging Indigenous creatives interested in film and media. The investment would strengthen a growing Indigenous owned production company focused on authentic storytelling and lasting community impact.
