My inspiration comes from lived experience and the children I’ve encountered along the way—those quiet moments when they’re confused, hurting, and searching for answers. That’s what drives me to create tools that help them feel safe, understood, and not alone.”

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated because I’ve seen the need up close. As a foster parent, I’ve witnessed the confusion, fear, and quiet questions children carry. Knowing I can create something that helps them feel safe and not alone is what keeps me going, even when things are difficult. Knowing that something I create could help even one child feel safe, understood, or less alone keeps me going.

What would you do with the $25,000?

“I would use the $25,000 to launch and validate a pilot of the Champion Series Emotional Support Kit within foster care programs—funding initial production, distribution, and caregiver guidance materials. This would put the resource directly into the hands of children while allowing me to gather meaningful feedback and measurable outcomes.
