Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration is Madam C.J. Walker, who proved that Black women can build powerful businesses in the beauty industry. I’m also deeply inspired by my late aunt, who did hair and handmade wigs while battling cancer and other health issues. Despite everything she faced, she never stopped creating. Her strength reminds me that creativity and resilience can change lives, and I strive to carry that same spirit into the work I do today.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by knowing my work is bigger than me. My faith reminds me to steward the gifts God has given me and use them to serve others. I believe when God blesses you with vision and resources, you have a responsibility to multiply it and pour it back into others. Through beauty and entrepreneurship, I want to create confidence, opportunity, and generational impact.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would strategically allocate $10,000 toward inventory to scale production of my lace glue line and launch new beauty products to meet growing demand. $6,500 would support marketing, advertising, and professional content to expand my brand’s reach in the beauty industry. $3,500 would strengthen my e-commerce infrastructure for higher conversions. $3,000 would elevate packaging and branding, and $2,000 would provide free wigs for women experiencing hair loss or alopecia.
