Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from my love of quality custom canadian metal and home & cottage decor. Whether it's through a custom wall piece, outdoor decor, through conversation pieces like firepits, finishing off a home with a custom railing panel or a custom garden piece, I believe these elements can tie a house together to make it feel like a home. It's very inspirational to see the different ideas and needs customers have that can't be met with today's modern style and mass product

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the joy that comes from helping our customers achieve the style or ideas they have and taking what they might think is impossible and making it possible. The other major motivation in my life is working for myself which gives me the ability to make my own schedule and have a purposeful, enjoyable career while still being able to show up for my husband and our two daughters on a daily basis as well as being there for all of our major family milestones.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I was to win the $25,000 I would invest the money back into my business through the necessary technology, equipment and tool upgrades needed to meet better quality and finish. These upgrades would additionally allow us to lower our process time to complete orders faster and more efficiently for our customers. The investment in newer technology would also allow us to make our process cleaner for the environment and less energy used on a regular basis in turn making it more eco friendly.
