Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration for building Your Preference Kombucha came from a passion for creating healthier beverage and supplement options people can enjoy every day. After discovering the benefits of fermented drinks, I saw an opportunity to craft Alberta-made kombucha, prebiotic and probiotic beverages, and functional gummies that support gut health and overall wellness, while proudly building a local brand focused on quality and innovation.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated in business by focusing on the bigger vision and the positive impact our products can have on people’s health and lifestyles. While markets and industries are constantly evolving, I view challenges as opportunities to innovate, adapt, and grow stronger. Staying connected to our mission, surrounding myself with supportive partners, and celebrating small milestones along the way helps keep the momentum moving forward.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded the $25K, I would invest it directly into the continued growth of my business, supporting the development and innovation of new products that make healthier choices more convenient for consumers. The funding would help accelerate product development, expand our offerings in the functional beverage and health sector, and strengthen our ability to bring Alberta-made, wellness-focused products to a wider market.
