Who or what is your inspiration in business?

As a mother of 3 daughters, my main focus is to become a fantastic example to them and many others that when you work hard, stay focused on your goals and put your best foot forward, anything is possible. My daughters have seen me faulter and persevere during the hardest of times over the past 10 years since the concept of Javamelts Flavored Sugar came to mind; and I feel as though when things really get rough and I feel like quitting, they are my biggest motivators to keep going!

How do you stay motivated?

I really believe in what I am doing and am proud of what I have been able to accomplish not having a background in food and beverage whatsoever. When things really get difficult, I pause, reflect, reset and pivot. I believe that if you are on to something REALLY BIG the universe will respond favorably and it has over and over again! There have been times where I have felt that I can't go on. I always stay positive and look for the opportunity in every waking day, I pray and ask for help too!

What would you do with the $25,000?

That's a loaded question because no amount of money can help you succeed without many other factors lining up simultaneously. I think that depending upon what is going on during the time that I receive the money I would have to assess where it could best used for the business. Off of the top of my head, being that I am in national accounts with Staples and soon Clark/Webstaurant Store, I would hire a TikTok expert & other social media gurus to get the word out quickly!
