Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the mentors and small business owners who welcomed me into the entrepreneurial world early on. Working with Eric at Lucky Duck Vending showed me how creativity, persistence, and relationships can grow a local business. I also helped organize Bee Fest, a community festival celebrating local artists, vendors, and entrepreneurs. Those experiences showed me that business isn’t just about profit, it’s about building community and creating opportunities for others

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on impact, not just outcomes. As a young entrepreneur balancing work, school, and launching new ventures, progress doesn’t always happen overnight. But every step forward builds something meaningful. I stay curious, keep learning, and remind myself that the work I’m doing today can create opportunities, connection, and support for people in my community tomorrow.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the $25,000 into growing my local business ventures. This includes expanding Casey Cares, a service focused on community support, growing my resale boutique, and launching my podcast, The Casey Effect, which highlights entrepreneurship and local voices. The funding would support equipment, marketing, and small community events that help my businesses grow while uplifting people and entrepreneurs in my area.
