Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from building something meaningful here in my city. The Columbus Wizards aren’t just a basketball team, they’re an opportunity to give players a platform, bring people together, and prove professional basketball can thrive in Columbus.

How do you stay motivated?

I keep the mindset that what I am building is not about just myself. I know that I am providing opportunities for players, fans, and giving them city something positive to rally around. When the mission is bigger than just one person, it becomes easy to push through the hard days. Players, staff, partners, and the community all believe in what we’re building and that responsibility keeps a level of accountability that pushes me.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000 I would reinvest it into my business to further increase the opportunities and resources available to my players, staff, fans, and the community. For me, it’s never been about a quick return. It’s about building something sustainable that can impact people for years to come. Every dollar invested into this organization creates more opportunity for someone else. And that’s the real mission behind what we’re building.
