Learn MoreMy inspiration is my children (2 boys) and seeing a community thrive. I draw energy from my boys and people who turn scarcity into an opportunity, especially Black women. Women who are building businesses that create jobs and mentorships. To see the courage of an individual to start, persist, and uplift others motivates me to build as I climb.
How do you stay motivated?I stay motivated knowing that my boys are always watching me, so I remind myself to lead by example. I set small wins for the week and celebrate the small wins that produce positive change.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would allocate the funds in 3 areas: 12,000 to restructure and scale my business and attract more customers; $8,000 to run a 6-week business accelerator (training, mentors, and materials); $5,000 to use as incentives for emerging women entrepreneurs to pitch their business.
