Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My mother was,and always will be,my greatest inspiration.She taught me how to knit and sew when I was just a child,but more importantly,she taught me life lessons that have stayed with me throughout the years.Her strength,creativity, and love continue to guide me in everything I do. There is so much I could say about the impact she had on my life.Her influence lives on not only through me, but also through my son and daughter.I carry her lessons,her spirit,and her inspiration is with me everyday

How do you stay motivated?

My children keep me focused on building a better future. People say kids are our future, and I truly believe that. Growing up, I sometimes wished someone had paved the way for me. That’s why I’m committed to being present and creating opportunities for my children—especially my son—im committed to being the foundation he can stand on as he grows and build his own path.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’m proud to be investing in my future and continuing to build my clothing brand. With six patent designs currently filed with the USPTO, I’ve taken important steps to protect my creativity and turn my vision into something meaningful. This is only the beginning. I’m now focused on developing the next phase of my brand and bringing the rest of my ideas to life. Every step I take is about growth,purpose,and creating something that represents my journey and vision for the future
