Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business and life has always been my parents. As a child in a lower-middle class family, I've seen my parents in tough moments of financial struggle throughout my whole life. However, through all the hardship they've endured, they always find a way to provide me with an enjoyable life. What makes me so motivated in business is the ultimate goal of retiring my parents and giving back to them the treatment they gave me when I was growing up.

How do you stay motivated?

There are lots of ways for which I stay motivated in my day-to-day life. For starters, I find motivation seeing my mom work long hours each and every day to provide for me, with no complaints or issues. I find motivation taking phone calls and turning them into real, profitable jobs, honing in on my customer service skills. Overall, I have countless small sources of motivation that I choose to keep close to me so that I can always push forward through adversity.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I would immediately dedicate most of it to my college fund so that I can work hard in all of my classes and hopefully earn a Masters degree in business administration. There's nothing I want more than to cultivate my passion in the classroom and be in an environment where I can streamline doing what I love and turn it into a lifelong career. With the remainder, I would cover some of my parents' bills, buy new equipment for my business, and invest the last of it into my Roth IRA.
