Who or what is your inspiration in business?

What inspires me is the idea that goodness and happiness can be both felt and shared. Doing good things in life, whether it be a simple smile or waving at a stranger or pushing for a cause you personally believe in, can bring such happiness to people in general. Doing good things to promote positivity and change can become contagious and when there is a high probability of success, people tend to want to take a stand with you. These aspects alone inspire me to push for change in our communities

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by keeping a network of people around me that are positive and goal oriented. Taking things one day at a time and being patient with the process. I set small goals for myself to stay on track and keep focused on my ending goals. Taking breaks to remain in a good head space and avoid being overwhelmed. These steps help me push forward and the outcomes show that I can continue and thrive to be my best ME.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded $25,000 i would use it to bring stability, dignity, and hope the the people we plan on serving within our nonprofit Ascension House. It would help provide essential life skills and job readiness support, and emergency assistance when residents face unexpected hurdles. Every dollar would go toward lifting someone up at the moment they need it the most. So it wouldn't just improve our programs, it would change the trajectory of real lives and give people a chance to heal and rebuild.
