Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from my parents. Growing up, I watched them build and run a dental practice that supported our community, not just through care, but by giving back to local schools and helping families. Their work showed me that a business can create real impact while also providing freedom and stability to others. This inspired me to start Live Laugh Lawn, to build something of my own that could one day give back and create opportunities for others just as my parents have.

How do you stay motivated?

Personally, I stay motivated in two ways. First, I focus on enjoying the process. Being a young entrepreneur comes with challenges, but I try to see challenges as opportunities to grow and learn. This mindset helps me stay consistent and keep moving forward, even when things feel uncertain. Second, I remind myself of all the people who have put their faith in me, including my clients. Their trust creates a sense of grounding that pushes me to show up, improve, and stay disciplined over time.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded the $25,000, I would invest in both my future and my community. First, a large portion would go toward tuition at a top Canadian business school to further my growth and education. Then, I would reinvest in Live Laugh Lawn to expand operations, create another full-time student crew, and provide more opportunities to employees. Finally, I would establish a bursary or donation program to support young entrepreneurs, helping others pursue their ambitions as I have.
