Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My son James who passed away in 2015 is my greatest inspiration he loved photography and through his eyes I was able to capture “ the bigger picture” of what matters most in life , also my family inspires and motivates me as I watch them persevere through the adversity that has impacted our family directly, as well as the communities that we are associated with.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by watching and listening to those that I provide services to. During events that I host, I listen to the commentary shared among the participants and to hear how the artistic process allows them to “ forget about what they are going through, or give clarity to a situation is the reason why I do the work for AmUart Foundation

What would you do with the $25,000?

25,000 would allow me to expand my foundation by building a website, invest in branding and outreach supplies, I could fund the arts and craft supplies needed to reach out to more communities. I could build a team of diversely connected people who are willing to come together and share my vision with other communities affected by trauma. I would be able to build a Social platform so that I could reach people virtually.
