Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

The excitement, joy and gratitude I receive from my customers keeps me going. Hearing people actually squeal when they see it. Thanking me for making it. Even asking for pictures with me so they can say they knew me when. That is what keeps me going. I chose the name SeaSters for the business because it seemed fitting for what and where I was doing it. SeaSters comes from spending a day at the beach with my very dear friend, Missy.

How do you stay motivated?

SeaSters has taken on a life of her own. I am doing my best to keep up. The name of my business became my best selling product. I hadn’t even thought to make SeaSters shirts until customers asked me to. Now I am in the process of Trademark and just launched a website, SeaStersSanDiego.com. I am happy to keep doing everything I can to bring SeaSters, BrOceans and Beasters to all who enjoy it. It is the best feeling that people enjoy your work. It feels even better seeing people wearing it.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000.00 will help with legal filings, marketing, advertising and expansion. Right now it is just me taking care of everything from the business side to the selling side. It has been a lot of work doing the research to do the initial filing for Trademark, developing the content for the website and building the shopping cart. I want to get SeaSters, BrOceans and Beasters (for pets) into small apparel shops. If I can do what I am doing in one spot. I can do it in many spots.
