Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My son. He was born March 8th and everything changed overnight. I'm building Beat The Odds — a fantasy sports platform that gives everyday fans a fair shot — because I want him to grow up seeing that you can create something from nothing if you're willing to outwork the doubt. My faith keeps me grounded, my family keeps me hungry, and the users who've been waiting for a product like this keep me accountable.

How do you stay motivated?

I just became a first-time father and ended up in the hospital the same week. When life tests you like that, motivation stops being abstract — it becomes the little boy you're fighting to get home to. I stay motivated by keeping my circle tight, staying in prayer, and remembering that every obstacle is just confirmation I'm on the right path. I didn't come this far to only come this far.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Every dollar goes back into Beat The Odds. We're launching this spring during the FIFA World Cup and NBA Playoffs — the timing couldn't be better. Our platform is free for venues — bars, restaurants, and sports lounges use BTO to drive foot traffic and fan engagement without paying a dime, turning game nights into real revenue they're currently leaving on the table.
