Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration is rooted in a legacy of grit. My grandfather immigrated from Italy with nothing and built a respected name through pure persistence, while my Mother and Uncle continue to scale their own successful business. Their multi-generational journey gave me the courage to leave a decade-long career in construction management to forge my own path. I’m not just building a business, I’m honouring their hustle by growing something meaningful.

How do you stay motivated?

Motivation comes natural to me. I am the engine of this business. As an owner-operator, I know that if I’m not moving, the business isn’t either. That weight of personal accountability doesn't drain me, it fuels me. Knowing that every milestone achieved and every project completed rests on my shoulders keeps me relentless. I take pride in being the one who makes things happen, turning that responsibility into the momentum that drives me forward every day.

What would you do with the $25,000?

This $25,000 is the catalyst to transform High Country Construction from a one-man crew into a scalable company. I’ve spent years as the first on-site and last at the desk. Bringing on part time operators will help free my time operationally. Also, by upgrading equipment and premium branding, I’m not just buying tools, I’m building the capacity to lead. I’m ready to stop working in my business so I can continue building it.
