Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration is people. My family, all the incredible nail clients I serve, new faces I meet each day and old faces I haven't seen in awhile. I've always been driven to help others, I want my creativity to stand out, I want to make a difference in this world for the absolute good and overall be the best version of myself.

How do you stay motivated?

Finding motivation surrounding my business has never been difficult. I've always felt if I was a cup and the liquid in the cup represented motivation, the cup would be overflowing. I have two young daughters, they motivate me on a daily basis, my goal is to show them if you put in the hardwork all your dreams will come true. My husband motivates me, he paid the tuition for me to attend school and ultimately become a Licensed Nail Technician, on my own I would have never been able to afford it.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the prize amount of $25,000 I would use it to expand my business’s impact. Recently my company has introduced mobile nail care services. I would use the funding to scale my mobile nail service for seniors. This includes upgrading equipment, improving my mobile setup, and developing partnerships with more senior facilities across rural communities. The goal is to make professional nail care accessible to residents who otherwise rarely receive these services.
