Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My brother-in-law Larry has been a huge inspiration to me as a business owner. Before opening my own academy, I spent years working at four different career institutions. Each experience helped shape my understanding of education, leadership, and what students truly need to succeed. Larry’s example of entrepreneurship and determination encouraged me to take the leap and start my own academy, and I’m grateful for the impact he’s had on my journey.

How do you stay motivated?

Seeing students grow and eventually build a career is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching. I’m not just helping them pass a class—I’m helping shape their confidence, skills, and direction in life. When a student lands a job, starts a profession, or discovers what they’re capable of, a piece of that success traces back to the guidance they received from teachers like you. Many educators say the real “payoff” isn’t immediate.

What would you do with the $25,000?
