Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I’m inspired by the women that I meet who keep it all together. They are moms, wives, daughters and friends to many and always put everyone else first. I admire how selfless most women are. It’s because of this that they lack the time to spend to educate themselves financially and have left it up to their banker to educate them. Unfortunately, the banks are more structured to sell products than to truly advise, and have put the best interest of the bank first and not the client.

How do you stay motivated?

My mission is to educate and transform 100 women’s lives in the next 10 years by educating them on their finances and help increase their net worth. When I meet with these ladies - they typically say; “I now feel relieved and a weight has been lifted ” after I reviewed their plan. When I hear this, I know I’ve done my job and have begun to fulfill my purpose.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would hire Kelly Keehn as a guest speaker at one of my “From Surviving to Thriving” events. She’s a Canadian author and personal finance educator.
