My inspiration comes from resilience, legacy, and representation. I’m inspired by those who turned passion into purpose. I’m also deeply inspired by my roots. Louisiana culture, family traditions, and the joy that food brings to people are at the heart of everything I do. Every praline I make is a reflection of that legacy—rich, intentional, and made to be shared.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering why I started—to build something meaningful, something that creates joy, and something that can grow beyond me. Seeing customers light up after that first bite, hearing “this is the best I’ve ever had,” and watching my business evolve keeps me going. I also stay grounded in discipline—showing up even on the hard days, because consistency creates results.

I would strategically invest the $25,000 to scale Delightful Pralines by D’Chelle into its next phase of growth. This funding wouldn’t just grow my business—it would position my brand for long-term sustainability, expansion, and greater community impact.
