Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business is my drive to make people happy and build a spot in the community that everyone from all backgrounds can come together and enjoy a third place. When I’m on the other side of a bar or dining at a restaurant I always notice the vibe. You can tell when it’s not communal and people aren’t laughing and smiling. Creating a third place in my small town of Pace, Florida and creating smiles through art, music, and food is my inspiration and drive in business.

How do you stay motivated?

My motivation is my reputation. There are days when it is hard to get everything done, working a full time job and owning a private event and mobile craft bartending company is hard work! But I have worked very hard to build my reputation in Northwest Florida and I will always show up and go above and beyond no matter what because that is what builds a successful business and shows people you have integrity.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000 I would invest in an enclosed trailer for storage and transportation to events for my business. Loading everything in my truck including a fully functional craft bar is getting harder the more my business expands and more services I offer. I would also put half the money away to save for my goal of having a brick and mortar craft cocktail/mocktail bar with international food inspired by my travels and local artist and musicians that would serve as a third place for my community.
