Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Everyone that doubted me and called me crazy. Barbering is a male dominant industry and for me as a female, highly skilled, award winner, barber instructor, business owner and more made me push to strive at a higher platform. I love the path that I created for myself because it stated out as a hobby which turned into a successful career thus far.

How do you stay motivated?

My passion for serving others is rooted in my personal journey and the values that shaped me. Having come from humble beginnings, I am deeply committed to paying it forward and creating opportunities for those who may not have access or support. What drives me is the understanding that there are individuals within our community who need help but may be hesitant to ask—my mission is to reach them, uplift them, and make a meaningful, lasting impact.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would allocate the funds toward establishing my dream barber college—an initiative designed to create opportunities, provide hands-on education, and empower individuals within the San Antonio community. This institution will serve as a platform for mentorship, skill development, and ongoing community outreach, allowing me to expand my commitment to giving back and making a lasting, positive impact.
