Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My business inspiration begins with Madam C. J. Walker, the first self-made woman millionaire in America, who proved that vision, courage, and entrepreneurship can change generations. Her story reminds me that building wealth is also about creating opportunity for others. My greatest inspiration, however, is my children and grandchildren. Everything I build is about legacy, impact, and leaving a path they can walk further than I ever could.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering why I started. I am not just building businesses, I am building legacy. My children, my grandchildren, and the generations after them are the reason I keep going. Every step forward creates opportunity for their future. The work I do today is about planting seeds of wealth, knowledge, and possibility that will grow long after I am gone.

What would you do with the $25,000?

$25,000 would launch the Cali Marie Foundation in honor of my late granddaughter, providing youth with mentorship, technology access, and AI literacy so they are prepared for the future economy. It would also expand the DSWM AI Masters Academy, training entrepreneurs, educators, and underserved communities to use AI to build businesses, careers, and generational wealth. This investment would transform grief into opportunity and create impact for generations.
