Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the people who are left out of everyday spaces because accessibility was treated as an afterthought. Growing up with a disability and later working in sports, venues, and public spaces showed me how often design decisions overlook real users. That experience pushed me to build a business focused on helping organizations get accessibility right from the start and create environments that work for everyone.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay driven by the impact of the work. When accessibility is done well, it changes how people experience spaces like venues, airports, campuses, and public buildings. Through my work and my own travel, I see both the progress and the gaps every day. Many organizations still treat accessibility as a checklist instead of thinking about real users. Helping clients move beyond compliance and create spaces that actually work for people is what keeps me focused and motivated.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest it in accelerating Level Playing Field's growth. Demand for accessibility expertise is growing quickly, and we are often asked to support projects across multiple sectors at once. The funding would allow us to expand training, strengthen our operational capacity, and reach more organizations that want to move beyond minimum standards and create spaces that truly work for people and communities across North America.
