Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Mostly my loved ones, the experience in my day to day and my life. I watch a lot of fashion designers from the early 90s but most of my inspirations come from the ones around me in a sense. I took style from one of my aunts the way she take care of her shoes… she used to take the right shoe off while she drove so she didn’t crease her shoe. I get inspired if I see a colorful butterfly or touching fabric in stores. My brand BrXke means to never be broken mentally, physically nor emot

How do you stay motivated?

My kids motivate me most. Example: My daughters argued one day about who’s been to my store the most. My 5 year old son teacher asked “what is this store you have that King keeps bragging on” that makes me never want to give up on any day.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to buy more merch for the store ($10,000), marketing and promo for the year ($4,000), pay rent up 6 months ($6,000), and the remaining $5,000 would go to partially funding my 2026 Fashion show.
