Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My family survived the Cambodian genocide. I was born in a refugee camp at the end of it. My father taught me to turn talent into service. What inspires me is the power of being seen accurately. Art, design, fashion, beauty, identity — they all ask the same question: How do you bring the inside into accurate form on the outside? What happens when perception shifts? I know what it is to be misread. I’m here for people who were overlooked, othered, or dismissed.

How do you stay motivated?

What keeps me motivated is the effect this work actually has on someone’s life. People underestimate brows, but they shape expression, restore ease, and quietly shift how someone carries themselves in the world. Witnessing that change never gets routine for me. I have an unusually strong track record in luxury retail. I know how to move people, shape desire, and drive results. I’m done making millions for others while I stay small. I know what I can build for myself.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Surviving year one as a solo founder is its own discipline. Finishing it strong means covering operational costs, investing in better systems, and laying the groundwork for what’s next. PMU is the entry point because the face is the first signal the world receives from you. I’ve watched that shift change lives. My brand extends well beyond it — but it all starts here. I’m not here to grow fast. I’m here to grow right.
