Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I’ve always have had a love for hair and my Godmother Stephanie Woodard was my inspiration to keep pushing my business when she passed in 2018. Now my biggest inspiration is DJ . Knowing how involved he was in the community and my plans i secretly had for the city of McComb, Ms especially the band kids, i just want to keep his name and memory alive.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated because i see these kids and people in my city and we deserve so much more than what the city has to offer but it starts with us as people to do something. We have to take back our community for us and mainly the new generation that’s coming behind and give them something much more than the street life. I want to show them, guide, and help them see that it is possible to be something more than what they are looked down on as. I want to continue what Dj started.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would donate some of the money back into McComb High School marching band, as they hold a special place in my heart. I (Flute/ Piccolo) , my sister (Trombone) , Damon (Quads) and his little sister Angela (Colorguard) were apart of the band and have marched with Alumni. We might have not always had what we truly needed, but we made do and enjoyed it. Damon was still volunteering at the school up until his passing and I want to this band an ALL SUPERIOR band again in style like they deserve.
