Cooking has always been a part of who I am. I grew up learning in the kitchen from my parents, and over time, I turned that love into a business rooted in comfort, culture, and creativity. I stay motivated by remembering why I started. As a nurse, I’ve always been in a position of caring for others, and I carry that same purpose into my business. What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to expand Lady Dee’s Kitchen in a way that creates long-term growth, not just a short-term win. My goal would be to invest in equipment, staffing support, branding, and operational upgrades that allow me to serve more clients efficiently while maintaining the quality and care my business is known for. A portion of the funding would go toward securing better kitchen resources and supplies, and possibly a food truck.
