Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from my father, Henry Lanier, a proud Marine, who taught me discipline, integrity, and perseverance, whom unfortunately passed away November 26, 2025. His legacy reminds me to stand tall even in difficult seasons. I’m also inspired by the calling God placed on my life to build D.Lanier Eyewear, a brand that empowers people to express themselves boldly. Every frame I design represents faith, resilience, and the belief that purpose driven businesses can change lives.

How do you stay motivated?

My motivation comes from purpose. I know God entrusted me with a vision bigger than myself. Building D.Lanier Eyewear reminds me daily that perseverance creates impact. I also stay motivated by the people who wear my frames with confidence, accompanied by the boldness of men, women, and children who feel seen and empowered. When challenges arise, I lean on faith, discipline, and the belief that every step forward honors my God appointed journey.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Winning $25,000 would allow me to further expand D.Lanier Eyewear by developing new innovative designs, increasing inventory, and scaling marketing so my brand reaches more communities nationwide. My mission is to continue to provide unique, affordable eyewear for men, women, and children because everyone deserves to express themselves confidently. This investment would help grow my purpose driven brand built on faith, creativity, and impact.
