My inspiration is the power of community. I watched brilliant ideas in underserved communities go unseen simply because people lacked access, platforms, or resources. That pushed me to build spaces where voices are amplified and opportunities are created. Through BrwnGrlz Collective and my work in media and entrepreneurship, I am inspired by the everyday women and changemakers who prove that impact does not start with capital, it starts with courage.
How do you stay motivated?I stay motivated by remembering that the work is bigger than me. When someone tells me a conversation we hosted helped them start a business, write a book, or feel seen, that is fuel. I also stay grounded in purpose. Every project I build is designed to open doors for someone else. Impact driven work keeps you moving even when the road gets hard.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would launch a micro grant and mentorship program through BrwnGrlz Collective supporting at least 10 emerging women entrepreneurs with funding, storytelling exposure, and business training.
