Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from lived experience. After navigating housing instability and rebuilding stability through programs like Head Start, MaineHousing, and community organizations, I saw how life-changing access to the right resources can be. That experience drives me to turn lived experience into community impact by helping families understand and navigate the systems designed to support them.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering that rebuilding stability is rarely a straight line. As a mother, entrepreneur, and advocate, I understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate housing, education, and wellness systems. Each step forward reminds me that when families gain access to the right information and support, they can create entirely new outcomes for themselves and their children.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would launch the first phase of Bridging the Gap to Stability, a community initiative helping families navigate housing, education, and wellness systems. Funding would support developing a Maine resource guide, hosting 8–10 community workshops, and building partnerships with organizations like Penquis and MaineHousing. The goal is to help hundreds of families access critical resources and build long-term stability.
