Who or what is your inspiration in business?

What inspires me is creating spaces where everyone can see themselves and feel they belong. As an immigrant, I often struggled to find my own place at the table. My parents came to Canada after living through civil war, determined to build a better future. Their resilience shaped me, and today I work to create inclusive spaces through yoga and Pilates where people from all backgrounds feel supported and empowered.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on the work I love and surrounding myself with like minded people who believe in community and growth. When challenges arise, I return to my purpose: creating spaces where people feel supported, stronger, and more connected to themselves. Seeing the impact that movement and community have on others reminds me why I started and keeps me moving forward.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000 I would expand scholarship opportunities so more people can access yoga and Pilates training regardless of financial barriers. I would also host more community wellness events that bring people together through movement and connection. A portion would help stabilize and strengthen the business, allowing the studio to continue growing as an inclusive space that serves our community for years to come.
