Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My greatest inspiration is my late father. He carried himself with timeless style and quiet confidence, always wearing his signature sunglasses. One of my greatest joys while traveling through Europe was bringing my father something special, often unique sunglasses. After returning in the fall of 2022 during a difficult time with his health, I went for a long walk feeling lost. That’s when the idea came to me: build a brand in his honor. How do you stay motivated?

For the love of the game. I genuinely love every part of this journey, from the initial idea to the design process, building the product, and connecting with people across the globe. Nothing is more important to me. The love and purpose I find in this compares to nothing else. I’m also a father of two, a 2-year-old boy and a 6-month-old girl, which drives me even more. On weekends you’ll find me in cafés working on the vision, refining ideas & learning.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the $25,000 directly into growing DOHN ASH,producing our next design, “The Actor,” expanding inventory of our flagship frame “The Director,” and increasing global marketing and brand awareness.
