Creating handcrafted décor and custom engravings that carry stories of resilience, heritage, and home. As a veteran‑owned business shaped by the journey of our military child, the dandelion represents strength, adaptability, and the ability to take root anywhere. Every piece is made with intention—turning raw wood into meaningful décor that brings warmth, connection, and a sense of belonging to whatever spaces people call home.

How do you stay motivated?

I’m motivated by resilience, service, and the stories we carry. As an Disabled Army Veteran and father to a military child, the dandelion reminds me to take root anywhere. Through Driftin Dandelion Designs, I turn raw wood into meaningful pieces that honor heritage, connection, and the feeling of home.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were blessed with this opportunity I would put it to good use helping scale my business and improve my workshop. I am working in a 1000 sq/ft shop at my house, but I need to optimize the space to be more productive and have the ability to take on larger jobs. I believe having this ability will turn my small business into a larger scale sign and decor business. Along with that this opportunity would help be start a retail space where we can sell our items and also add a florist design twist
