Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My biggest inspiration is my daughters. I want them to grow up in a world where they aren’t the only woman in the room. Detroit and the world in general is filled with women building businesses, leading teams, and creating change, and that energy inspires Detroit’s Future is Female.

How do you stay motivated?

The community keeps me going. When women stop by our table at events and tell me the brand makes them feel seen or empowered, it reminds me why I started. Even on hard days, I know the mission is bigger than just selling a product. We are building a community and movement!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest in expanding DFF from just apparel into experiences… pop-ups, workshops, and community events that bring women together. The funding would also support better displays, inventory and printing equipment, digital business directory for women-owned businesses, and marketing so we can reach more women across different cities.
