Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Henry David Thoreau "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation...But it is a characteristic of wisdom not to do desperate things." I realized that most people are quietly desperate at work, vulnerable and trapped due to financial obligations. I want to help them feel confident and empowered at work, no matter their title. To help them find meaning, purpose, and possibly even a little joy in even the most mundane administrative jobs.

How do you stay motivated?

Motivation for Life, Inc. is not just a business. It's my life's work. It is my passion to help professionals who are largely overlooked. The day-to-day workers who actually do the work, without the title, without the glory. I set goals for myself to create content and to become a go-to resource and mentor for professionals who are ready to approach their workday differently.

What would you do with the $25,000?

$25,000 would be a game changer for me. I would finish my online MotivationScore Wheel that I've developed using a wheel of life model. The online interactive tool walks them through 10 categories, and then give them a completed wheel so they can visually see their high and low scores. I can then target each area and personalize a coaching experience for each customer. It requires quite a bit of coding and web design, and I haven't had the funds to invest to get it finished.
