Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My dad was my inspiration. He was a WW II vet who used the GI bill to start the business he maintained for 60 years. I used that inspiration to launch my first business in elementary school. My friend who became a professional artist and I were business partners. I came up with the idea to sell maps on the playground. She drew the maps and I sold them. As adults I started helping the same friend with her business before opening my business. NARAB Veteran Business Owner of the Year, 2025

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by surrounding myself with quality artists who need help getting started. It means a lot to me to help artists see and understand their value in the art world. I love my community and embrace the idea of promoting and cultivating new art. I stay engaged in my community as Vice President, Merchantville Business and Professional Association

What would you do with the $25,000?

1. I would increase advertising. 2. Set up my nonprofit to continue the art program I have self funded for student artists. 3. Create an internship for high school students
