Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I am inspired by so many things. I am motivated by those around me that work tirelessly to achieve their goals. I mirror that energy by continuously planning and putting in the effort, until I reach my desired result. I am also inspired by the feedback I receive, whether positive or negative, it gives me something meaningful to work on and I use it as a tool to improve. Lastly, I am inspired by my children, it is my hope that I can be a positive role model and an inspiration for them.

How do you stay motivated?

When my motivation fades I remind myself that my children are learning how to deal with life’s challenges through me. As someone that practices what they preach I fight through life’s obstacles so that my children can learn how. With so many people unable to accomplish their dreams I feel an obligation to achieve mine. I show up everyday with a positive attitude because I am grateful for all that I have.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The prize money would be reinvested into my business, with growth on the horizon this would help stimulate that growth. I would use a portion of the money to pay off debt incurred by the company. Secondly, there are certifications and classes I would like to attend so that I can offer more ancillary services. The ancillary services that require specialized tools would be purchased in efforts to gain more capital. Finally, I would use the rest of the money for networking and also for reserves.
